There is an Used column with asterisks on my scoring record. What do those mean?

Question:

There is an "Used" column with asterisks on my scoring record. What do those mean?

Answer:

The asterisk in the "Used" column indicates a score that has been included as one of the scores in the calculation of your Handicap Index® at the last revision. This is based on a term called "handicap differential" that takes into account the USGA Course Rating and Slope Rating– it is not just based on raw score.
