Shot Takers Golf Club Guidelines

From its inception, the Shot Takers Golf Club (STGC) has been a haven for low handicappers through hackers seeking another reason to get out once a month and play golf. The NCGA membership year begins January 1 and concludes December 31.  The STGC schedules monthly events from January through October.  Accordingly, in order to enhance the experience and make it enjoyable for all involved, we have developed these guidelines.

Tournament Schedule

Tournament information can be found on the calendar of this website.

Tournament schedule for the upcoming year is distributed to all current STGC members shortly after the current year’s final event.

Tournament times, dates, fees, deadlines. etc. may change over the course of the year due to circumstances beyond our control.  It is recommended you confirm you have the latest information on a semi-regular basis.

Sign-ups are conducted on a first come, first serve basis.

Website submission is considered a hold in lieu of payment.

Entry is complete once payment is received (see “Payment”)

If you would like to be paired with another player please note it in the comments section of the registration form.  We will make a best effort to honor such requests.

Guests of STGC members are always welcome to sign-up for tournaments

In the event a tournament is full, STGC Members will have priority over Guests

Tournament Director will E-Mail Guest slot confirmations to STGC Member sponsor

Guests are not eligible for Flight or NCGA prizes

When paying by check, one check per player per tournament payable to “Shot Takers Golf Club” is prefferred

Payment is to be submitted in person or US Mail to the Tournament Director, or by credit card on the website.

Payment is to be received by the Tournament Director no later than the posted tournament deadline

Failure to submit payment in a timely manner may result in forfeiture of green fee regardless of playing status (see “Cancellation”)

Cancellations should be submitted by E-Mail to Tournament Director prior to tournament deadline (name will be removed and check destroyed)

Cancellations submitted after tournament deadline:

 - Name will be removed
